Philippines Emergency Appeal
A series of devastating storms has hit the Philippines, leaving communities in crisis. More than 4.1 million people are affected. 210 people have lost their lives so far, and over 100 are still missing. Many houses have been destroyed, and nearly 380,000 people have taken shelter in evacuation centres, or with friends and relatives. Families are in urgent need of shelter, clean water and food.
ADRA Philippines is now carrying out rapid needs assessments to identify the most urgent priorities, and in the coming weeks will focus on repairing homes, restoring livelihoods, and ensuring access to safe water and sanitation.
